6 Month Software Developer Internship

ESPA or European Student Placement Agency is a recruitment agency whose goal is to find high quality internships for European students and recent graduates in the UK. We work closely with our host companies to ensure the positions provide the candidates with a great experience, both professional and personal.
REQUIREMENTS: ESPA vacancies are open to all EU passport holders able to travel to the UK for an educational work placement, without the need for visa documents. You have to still be a student or have graduated in the last 12 months. Any student who is unsure of their visa situation should check with their university before applying.
BENEFITS: All ESPA’s services are free for students and alumni. The benefits are:
1) Paid Accommodation.
2) Paid Utility Bills (electricity, gas, water and council tax) + Internet Access
3) Commuter travel to work (accommodation will be found within an acceptable commuting distance from the workplace, if that requires more than a sensible walk then a bus/train ticket will be provided).
This will be sourced and managed on your behalf by ESPA. These benefits have an approximate value of 700€-1000€ per month (depending on location).

The Host Company
Our host company is a Creative agency that produces award-winning projects for various companies in UK. They offer a multi-channel approach to make sure that the user experience delivers great value for the brand they promote.
This agency wants to develop its application offer with 2 to 4 key projects from an app redefining the way people can enjoy social life in their city or city they are visiting to a new way of delivering parcels.
Role
The company is looking for a Software Developer for mobile apps on android and iOS. The successful candidate will work closely to the front end team to deliver the disruptive projects the agency is working on. For the right person and after 6 successful months, there is a possibility to build a very attractive career path by becoming Head of the App development department.

Wakefield, in Leads’ suburbs, near Manchester, Northern England.
Languages
English should be B2/C1 level onwards (both spoken and written).

Tasks
Working in a team creating/developing Apps
o Design/Develop new Android App
o Design/Develop new IOS App
Personal Skills
Essential:
Application development experience (for Android & iOs).
Coding skills - Java, Objective–C, C or C++.
Analytical and good communication skills.
Flexible and adaptable to work in a small software team.
Careful and keen to details as well as self-starting character traits are appreciated.
Preferable:
Computer Science or Engineering Majors related (similar studies).
Knowledge of Xcode is a plus.
