6 Month Retail Design Internship

ESPA or European Student Placement Agency is a recruitment agency whose goal is to find high quality internships for European students and recent graduates in the UK. We work closely with our host companies to ensure the positions provide the candidates with a great experience, both professional and personal.
REQUIREMENTS: ESPA vacancies are open to all EU passport holders able to travel to the UK and Ireland for an educational work placement, without the need for visa documents. You have to still be a student or have graduated in the last 12 months. Any student who is unsure of their visa situation should check with their university before applying.
BENEFITS: All ESPA’s services are free for students and alumni. The benefits are:
1) Paid Accommodation.
2) Paid Utility Bills (electricity, gas, water and council tax) + Internet Access
3) Commuter travel to work (accommodation will be found within an acceptable commuting distance from the workplace, if that requires more than a sensible walk then a bus/train ticket will be provided).
This will be sourced and managed on your behalf by ESPA. These benefits have an approximate value of 700€-1000€ per month (depending on location).

Now, they are searching for the next generation to work on developing future technologies and they are looking for people with bright ideas to contribute to their success.
Role
The Intern will be responsible for the creation of visual concepts in modern software, to communicate ideas that inspire and inform consumers. The aim of the role is development and creation of point of sale retail displays for use in-store. The right candidate will be involved in many different projects offering support and ideas, and working in a team with colleagues from other departments.
Location
Sandyford, is a suburb of Dublin, located in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown county, Ireland. A major part of Sandyford today is composed of the Sandyford Industrial Estate and related developments.

Tasks
Creation of point of sale retail displays
Offering support to all creative projects for Ireland from brief to execution.
Analysis and reporting of all visual communications for the host company’s brand in Ireland.
Working with different departments, briefing and advising them with regard to design style and format.
Personal Skills
Knowledge of In-Design or Illustrator.
Project & time management skills are a must
Detail orientated and with a good sense of colour, typography and composition.
Proven talent for creating fresh, unique and professional content.
Great presentation skills and the ability to cope with several projects at a time.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
