Popis 6 Month Chemistry Analysis Incubator Internship CASCA2601 PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE CONTINUING. ESPA or European Student Placement Agency is a recruitment agency whose goal is to find high quality internships for European students in the UK. There is a significant opportunity to join a step out team, which is working on a new revolutionary technology that marks one of the most significant oil change innovations in automotive history. The system offers manufacturers and motorists three primary benefits in CO2 reduction, sustainability and servicing. Role The host company seeks to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Chemistry / Chemical Engineering student or recent graduate, who will support the work of the chief chemist in charge of the scientific research and development related to a specific technology. This technology is a disruptive innovation within the company’s core product offering. This opportunity will be attractive to students who wish to apply their specific skills and expertise in a progressive and challenging environment. The role will be based in a separate new business incubator, where this disruptive product is being developed – you should be open to working in an open innovation space. Alongside of this the candidate will be expected to spend some time working at the company’s global research and development centre a short distance away from the business incubator. The right candidate will work on challenging assignments and receive the necessary training and development for a successful and rewarding internship. Duration 6 months, starting in March 2016. Location The internship will take place in the incubator start up office near Reading with some time being spent at the global research and development centre, also near Reading Languages Fluent in written and spoken English (C1/ C2). Tasks  Planned work to provide & support project milestones for developing the fundamental scientific understanding around key aspects of the disruptive and innovative technology  Using chemical skills to develop key aspects of the technology to support the sustainability credentials of the offering  Responsible for using analytical techniques and bespoke rig tests for developing key formulating parameters for the technology , using support technologies as appropriate  Maintain written records of all experimental work in accordance with company policies Carry out literature based research to support work programmes and tasks Personal Skills  Chemistry educational background.
