ESPA or European Student Placement Agency is a recruitment agency whose goal is to find high quality internships for European students and recent graduates in the UK. We work closely with our host companies to ensure the positions provide the candidates with a great experience, both professional and personal.
REQUIREMENTS: ESPA vacancies are open to all EU passport holders able to travel to the UK for an educational work placement, without the need for visa documents. You have to still be a student or have graduated in the last 12 months. Any student who is unsure of their visa situation should check with their university before applying.
BENEFITS: All ESPA’s services are free for students and alumni. The benefits are:
1) Paid Accommodation.
2) Paid Utility Bills (electricity, gas, water and council tax) + Internet Access
3) Commuter travel to work (accommodation will be found within an acceptable commuting distance from the workplace, if that requires more than a sensible walk then a bus/train ticket will be provided).
This will be sourced and managed on your behalf by ESPA. These benefits have an approximate value of 700€-1000€ per month (depending on location).

The Host Company
Software Engineering Company that builds Integration modules and Interfaces for Physical Security, Energy Management, IT & Business Intelligence systems. This company has developed over 100 integration modules into physical systems and continue to build service and UI components which are custom built for each client’s needs.
It helps organisations to drive efficiencies in their business by integrating Systems to allow Management, Monitoring and Control of Key Operational infrastructure in the Physical Security, Utilities, IT and Manufacturing sectors.
Role
The company is looking for a Software Developer intern, capable of developing mobile apps for android and apple for their security and energy platforms and also give help for the implementation of MVC based Web applications. There is a need of flexibility to work and communicate in a small software team and the intern will be required to adjust to the quality required for real world application delivered by an enterprise software development team.

Location
Dublin, capital of the Republic of Ireland.
Languages
English should be B2/C1 level onwards (both spoken and written).
Start date
End of 2015 / early 2016.
Tasks
Working in a team developing variety of .NET projects in C#
Improve and add features to Cloud based Personal Safety Product
o Add features to existing Android App
o Design/Develop new IOS App
o Update/Improve Web client application
Working on other web based projects
Personal Skills
Essential:
Computer Science or Engineering Majors related (similar studies).
C# .Net experience
Coding, analytical and good communication skills.
Flexibility and adaptability to work in a small software team.
Careful and keen to details as well as self-starting character traits are appreciated
Preferable:
Front-end web development experience (ASP.net/MVC/Javascript/WebApi/jQuery)
Android / IOS development
Cloud Technologies experience (Microsoft Azure)
DB, Networking and Client/Server application knowledge
