Data Analytics Intern (penultimate-year university students)

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will be based in our Prague office.
 
You will be part of a global Technology organization that provides experiences that keep our firm colleagues focused on client impact and their professional development. 
 
You will interact most frequently with Product Teams who own various parts of those experiences. Composed typically of product managers, designers, team coaches and engineers, you will embed closely with them to understand their priorities and empower them to use data to advance those priorities. 
 
You will be part of a chapter of fellow Analysts & Data Scientists who are collectively responsible for data and analytics in the organization, and will help you learn and grow in your craft.
 
Your larger family will include the Design, Insights and Innovation community which integrates design, research and analytics practices in product development. 
 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a core member of the Technology & Digital Design, Insights & Innovation (T&D DII) group, you will create data views and dashboards to inform decision-making of our Product Teams. You will help answer questions like “Why is this application more popular with junior consultants but not senior ones?”,  “Should we take on new features from the backlog or fix accumulating technical debt?”.
 
Specifically, you will:  
  • Build data visualization dashboards that provide tailored insight to various audiences in a self-serve, easy to consume format. 
  • Maintain relationships with fellow analysts and user research experts to understand their needs. 
  • Develop an understanding of the digital product domain and data (for example, logs from tools like Zoom, Outlook or the Intranet). 
  • Understand and combine existing data in novel ways to surface insight into complex problems and relationships, and ensure synergies between existing datasets and visualizations. 
  • Ask questions of data, bring anomalies or interesting findings to team members’ attention. 
  • Identify opportunities for automating current data processes and dashboards. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Current university student in penultimate year of studies (2023 Graduation Year)
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, Tableau, Power BI 
  • Basic understanding of databases: Snowflake, SQL 
  • Basic understanding of IT and digital product development
  • Analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Interest in delivering insights and deriving the “so what” from data
